“Wir waren schon voriges Jahr in Valun und sind heuer wieder hin, weil die Strände (vor allem Raca) sehr fein sind, der Ort Flair hat, die nähere Umgebung toll zum Wandern ist (Lubenice), die Stadt Cres schnell erreicht ist und man Bootsausflüge aller Art unternehmen kann. Die Strände sind fantastisch zum Schwimmen und Schnorcheln (ruhiges und warmes Wasser durch die geschützte Lage) und somit voll kinder/familientauglich !”

“Es gibt im Ort 4 Restaurants, die alle sehr gut sind. Allerdings haben alle 4 fast das gleiche einseitige Angebot zu nicht ganz billigen Preisen. Für Kinder leider nicht so gut geeignet.
Die Strände sind wunderschön, allerdings im August tagsüber sehr überlaufen, da am Tag sehr viele Badegäste nach Valun kommen. Es gibt einen kleinen Supermarkt im Ort, bei dem man alles bekommt was man braucht. Zusätzlich gibt es noch einen Stand mit frischem Obst, Gemüse und Eis und einen kleinen Laden mit Zeitschriften...
Man kann sich im Ort auch Boote ausleihen. Wer Ruhe sucht und nicht unbedingt im August fährt, für den ist Valun genau das Richtige! Ein Geheimtipp ist es aber nicht mehr!
Geld wechseln und Ausflüge buchen kann man in der Touristeninformation im Ort.
Noch ein Tipp: in der Hauptsaison unbedingt einen Parkplatz mitbuchen, da die Parkplatzsituation nicht einfach ist.”
