    “Der Ort Los Urrutias ist sehr klein. Ein paar "Standard" Restaurants gibt es fußläufig. Zum "SuperMercator" (Supermarkt) muss man ca. 8-10 Min gehen. Der biete aber alles, was man so braucht. Ansonsten haben wir nicht viel gesehen, was aber zum größten Teil an uns lag, da wir die meiste Zeit in unserem tollen Haus und Pool verbracht haben.
    Wir sind mal an den 100 mtr. entfernten Strand gelaufen. Leider hat´s dort nicht so gut gerochen... warum auch immer. Theresa hat uns schon bei der Ankunft darauf hingewiesen, dass das Meer (Mar Menor) sehr "grün" ist. Vielleicht lag es daran. Als Badestrand mit Kindern - wir haben einen 7 jährigen Jungen - ist dieser leider nicht geeignet. Da wir unser Auto vor Ort hatten, sind wir die "Landzunge" einmal abgefahren und waren dann mal an einem anderen Strand. Richtung La Manga del Mar Menor. Da gibt es einige schöne Strandabschnitte, super geeignet für Kinder. Das Wasser ist sehr flach und jetzt im August auch sehr warm. Perfekt für kleine Schwimmer, auch Anfänger, Schnorchler und begeisterte Wasserrutschen-Ratten (1 Std = 7 Euro).

    Das was wirklich gestört hat waren die vielen, vielen Fliegen. Egal wo man sich dort befindet, man wird extrem von Fliegen belagert. Das nervt. Vor allem wenn man in Ruhe essen möchte. Aber ehrlicherweise ist das auch das einzige was nicht so toll gewesen ist.”
