Nearby is Lake Montedoglio, the nature reserve of the Mountains Rognosi with the large pine forest of Col di Paiolo. At the foot of Anghiari flows the river Tiber and you can make walking and cycling in the streets that run along the old gravel pits, now flooded.
Nearby you can visit Caprese, where born Michelangelo, Citerna, Monterchi, Sansepolcro and Città di Castello. Not far away the city of Arezzo.
