The villa is located in the area under the mountain Ucka, which separates the regions of Istria and Kvarner. The villa is located about 8 km from Opatija - the pearl of the Adriatic, and less than 30 km from Rijeka, the third largest city in Croatia. As soon as you visit this area, you will fall in love with its fantastic location. The location allows you to discover the best of both regions, Kvarner and Istria, but also the best of the mountain and the sea. This area is famous for its beautiful nature and beneficial climate, whose benefits and effects on health make it a well-known thalassotherapy location. You will be amazed by the diverse hiking trails of Mount Ucka, as well as the breathtaking views from the top. Locals say that even Venice can be seen from the top in good weather. Within a radius of 5 km you will find many different beaches where you can enjoy the sun and relax. But if you want to experience the hustle and bustle of the high season, visit the beautiful pebble beaches in Moscenicka Draga and Medveja. The best way to get to know the area is by walking through Lungo Mare, a 12 km long promenade along the sea that connects Volosko, a charming little fishing village, with Lovran, the nearest town to Icici. Lungo Mare is perfect for romantic evening walks with a view of the picturesque sunset, or morning jogs right by the sea. If you want to explore more than the immediate surroundings, you should not miss at least one of the beautiful islands in the Kvarner Bay - Cres, Losinj and Krk, or towns like Brsec and Moscenice or one of the many small medieval towns of Istria.
