Welcome to the Nagelfluhhaus Hirsch in Gunzesried Valley.
Families, couples, friends and solo travelers can feel comfortable in the family-friendly, animal-friendly environment. With us you not only enjoy a breathtaking view of the Nagelfluh chain and the horn chain, but also warm hospitality and an extensive service. The charm of the creaking floorboards, the Allgäu flair, flat ceiling height in the restaurant area and old cassette ceilings in a traditional house from 1866 promise atmosphere and cosiness.
Our two small dogs, parrot and cats do not only delight children's hearts. Our pussies do live in and out of the house, patrol the property and like to enjoy petting guests. Our village, in the Gunzesried high valley, surrounded by meadows, forest and mountains, is perfect for enjoying the day and leaving everyday life behind. The “Hirschen” is the central starting point for attractive valley and high-altitude hikes as well as mountain tours. Whether on foot nearby or tours in the Allgäu high Alps, wonderful swimming lakes, cool mountain streams, great ski areas, lush meadows ... With us you have more of everything. And if you are wondering why the mountains around you are not so high - you are at 930 m. Enjoy the peace and quiet in the Nagelfluh Nature Park, away from traffic.
Wellness for the senses in pristine nature, the most beautiful starry sky, sound pleasures in summer when the bells ring out of the many beautiful Allgäu cows, delights in the Alps, alpine dairies or our fantastic venison goulash or other home-cooked dishes. That is feeling good and enjoying life.

Dogs up to 40 cm high at the withers without food, on request: up to 3 days € 30.00, each additional night € 10.00. Except during meals in the Nagelfluhhaus Hirsch, dogs may not remain alone in the room. Dogs in and around the house only on a leash. Do not let the dogs sleep in and on beds, sofas and other furniture, not even with their own blanket. Please bring your favorite dog bed with you. If necessary, we will charge an additional cleaning fee.
