Chalet Oase, Lower Apartment

The Chalet Oase is located in the village of Pletschen in the municipality of Leuk, 1.7 km above Susten at 750 m above sea level.

In all directions around the chalet, there is a variety of habitats with a breathtaking biodiversity of flora and fauna.

But not only hikers will enjoy the region,  as there is a golf course, riding stables, tennis court and many other cultural attractions. Families find also child-friendly adventure parks.

Two well-furnished apartments (there are two apartments in the chalet) with a total of eight beds (2 additional beds possible) invite you to linger. Property code: 2552573 and 1698385

A garden barbeque , table-tennis , lawn and sandbox for children, can be used by both parties. Each apartment has its own seating area outside in the garden.
 
Shops are available in Susten: Coop, Migros with butcher, Denner, a bakery, a pharmacy and more.

The nature resort Pfyn/Finges is with its 750 hectares the largest pine forest in Europe. Its great variety of flora and fauna have made it famous. Dry pine forests, quiet ponds and floodplain landscape can be seen on a hike.

The Illgraben can swell in a short time from a trickle to a raging torrent. Viscous then, the brown mass rolls to the valley. Then its roar and thunder can be heard at the chalet Oase.
The impressive suspension bridge over the Illgraben is only a 15 minute walk away.

From the house you can make plenty of short or longer hikes into the nature park towards the Illhorn.
By car you will be in the middle of the breath taking mountains of the canton Valais, in just a few minutes’ drive. In the winter time you are close to many famous ski resorts such like Leukerbad, Montana, Val d’anniviers and others.

    “Let guests of the low appartment know that the wooden floor of the appartment above them is quite creaking. This might be a problem for higher sensitive guests. Positiv: Cleanness, complete ( kitchen) inventory Negativ: Every morning we were woken up by the wooden floor of the appartment above us when our neighbours went at round 6 o’clock to enjoy nature.”

    “Der Aufenthal bleibt in sehr guter Erinnerung, wir würden wieder das Häuschen buchen. Positiv: Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist bemerkenswert, man findet alles was man braucht und darüber hinaus. Über Küchenutensilien zu Spielen, Spielzeug wie Federball etc. bis hin zu Leiterwagen, mit welchen man die Einkäufe vom Auto sehr bequem zum Haus bringen kann. Einfach genial! Negativ: Die Küche ist etwas dunkel, da wir in der Wohnung ein Familien-Fest (an einer anderen Location) vorbereitet hatten, haben wir wohl die Küche auch mehr gebraucht als in Ferien üblich ;)”
