For lovers of historical sites we recommend Suvereto 11 km, Campiglia Marittima 9 km and the wonderful Populonia 212 km with the Etruscan necropolis overlooking the Gulf of Baratti, Massa Marittima 31 km. A good alternative to the sea can be the thermal resort in Venturina 9 km. From Piombino (23 km) boats go to the island of Elba. Here you can taste the food and wine of the area, famous all over the world. Wine lovers can not miss a visit to a famous wine cellar (2.5 km), where tastings and visits are organized.
