East Frisian tradition and comfortable accommodation

The apartment was newly built in an old gulf farm. The traditional location of the enormous estate amidst the Feldmark is combined with modern architecture and comfortable living. The open view over the fields as far as the embankment separates it from the hustle and bustle of the tourist centres and allows you to slow down on holiday, with the wind blowing around the farm and the cracking of the centuries-old beams in the barn, the swallows building their nests in the beams and flying in and out through the open doorway.

You go through the big barn door to the “village square” under the big roof of the old barn, where you can relax in front of the apartments even in bad weather. The entrances to the apartments are in this sheltered area. There is garden furniture and a grill on the private sheltered terrace for relaxing in the sunshine. Our apartment is on the south side of the building and is a maisonette on two floors. The 38m² living and dining room on the ground floor invites you to relax. Underfloor heating and conventional radiators ensure cosiness in stormy weather. The ground floor also has a bathroom with a walk-in shower, a washbasin and a toilet. The terrace door opens to fresh sea air with a view over the fields to the embankment and the Campen lighthouse. Wooden stairs and a generous hallway lead to the first floor with the two bedrooms and a further spacious WC with a large washbasin. You can also exit the apartment on the upper floor onto the gallery above the village square, with wide stairs back to the communal area. The kitchen on the ground floor is fully-equipped with a dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob and fridge with freezer compartment. The living room has a combination of a two-seater and three-seater sofa in front of the 47” satellite TV.

A travel bed and highchair are available for toddlers.

The embankment and the coast with tidal flats are within walking distance of the farm. At the embankment you can watch kite surfers practicing their exciting sport, or even join them.

    “Sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung und alles vor Ort was Mann/Frau und Kinder für einen erholsamen Urlaub benötigen. Familie Eller gibt sich viel Mühe in der Kommunikation mit den Gästen.

    Für ein erholsames Wochenende an der Nordsee kann ich mir nichts schöneres vorstellen.”

    “Mir bestem Gewissen kann und muss ich für diese Wohnung einfach die Bestnote vergeben. Die Eigentümer haben hier absoluten Geschmack bewiesen und nicht an der Einrichtung gespart, wie man es oft in nicht selbst bewohnten Ferienwohnungen erlebt. Angefangen von der großzügigen Raumaufteilung, über die gesamte Ausstattung bis hin zu den liebevollen Details, die einen mit ihrem maritimen Charme direkt in Urlaubsstimmung versetzen.
    Die Terasse ist sogar, wie auf den Fotos ersichtlich, mit einem großen Tisch und Stühlen ausgestattet, sodass man auch mehr als genug Platz findet um dort zu frühstücken etc.

    Zum Schluss das für mich wichtigste: die Wohnung ist sehr, sehr sauber und die gesamte Abwicklung (Buchung, Kommunikation, Schlüsselübergabe) hervorragend.

    Vielen Dank an die Familie Eller für die schönen Pfingsttage, die wir in Ihrer Wohnung verbringen durften. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder.”
