Authentic farmhouse for holidays dating back to 1600, 5 km from Sarteano and 10 km from Chianciano Terme. Originally a monastery, it now consists of three residential units with a private pool. The estate is situated at 600 metres above sea level and is surrounded by the beautiful landscape of the Val d'Orcia, overlooking the typical Crete Senesi as far as Monte Amiata: the view is marvellous. The two units are surrounded by a large green area and offer privacy and tranquillity, the swimming pool overlooking the Val d'Orcia completes this fabulous offer. It is an ideal destination for those who enjoy walking or cycling. The first building is spread over two levels: on the ground floor there is a large living area consisting of a living room with fireplace, a large dining room and a kitchen. On the first floor there are two bedrooms - one double and one twin - and a bathroom. The second building consists of a living room with fireplace, a small kitchen, two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and a shared bathroom. There is also an annexe accessible via the courtyard with a twin bedroom and bathroom. Art lovers can explore an area rich in history and monuments from the Etruscans to the Renaissance, such as Chiusi, Pienza, Montepulciano and Montalcino, Siena (65 km) and Florence (130 km). For a relaxing day you can enjoy the thermal waters of Chianciano Terme or San Casciano dei Bagni. Round off your eventful days with a dish of the local traditional cuisine - the motto here is: mangiare bene e sano, in German: eat well and healthy - accompanied by wines such as Brunello or Nobile di Montepulciano. For all shopping enthusiasts, there is a famous outlet centre 35 km away.
