Just outside Monte San Savino (1.5 km) lies this friendly vacation home in a slightly hilly position. The house is an annex of a historic villa, surrounded by a park-like property with pool (shared with ITA902). One enters the large bright living room via a private terrace; the living room has an open fireplace and the adjoining small kitchen, a spiral staircase leads to the 1st floor (which can also be reached via a convenient external staircase). The functional kitchen area also has an exit to the garden. On the 1st floor are the bedrooms with bathroom. Crib on request. Various garden seating areas are spread around the property, so you can enjoy your espresso under a rose-covered pergola and a glass of wine in the shade of tall trees. You can also easily reach on foot the nice town of Monte San Savino, where you will find various bars, good restaurants and ice cream parlors ? for passionate city wanderers there are also Arezzo (20 km, also by train), Cortona 30 km, Siena 50 km and Florence 80 km. ? Monte San Savino has a rich offer of cultural events in summer, especially concerts in the rose garden; Wednesdays there is colorful life in the market. Table football available in the common area. The owner produces olive oil and wine of excellent quality using non-industrial methods and respecting traditional techniques and methods. The wine is made from grapes of local varieties such as Sangiovese and the first press oil is given by local varieties (Moraiolo and Morelli). Guests can taste the products and visit the wine cellar and participate in the harvest in the last days of September.
