A few kilometres from the nearby town of Haderslev is one of the area's most popular attractions, the 'Dyrehaven' deer park. Boasting a rich variety of animal life, half of the park is devoted to woodland while the other half is grassland and meadows. Popular excursions include a sailing trip on the 12 kilometre-long Haderslev Fjord, which is known for its rich variety of plant and animal life and quaint bays. A trip on the fjord is a captivating experience that will allow you to observe the fascinating relationship between land and water.
